Objectives:
The candidate will participate in projects involving valence bond calculations, DFT, post Hartree-Fock calculations, molecular dynamics simulations, and QM/MM calculations. In addition, the candidate will participate in modeling and understanding of reactivity patterns . Therefore, solid knowledge of quantum chemistry is essential in our group.
Candidate's profile:
The fellowship is designated for holders of Ph.D. in Chemistry (Theoretical Chemistry), Physics or a similar discipline, with curriculum adequate for the work described above.
The candidate will be chosen based on the following criteria:
- Skills in theoretical chemistry.
- Independence in research.
- Indicators of scientific excellence
- Indicators of productivity in research, such as publications, conference presentations, books etc.
- Command of the English language
Duration:
The fellowship is is granted for 12 months, with an option for extension of up to 3 years.
Fellowship:
The regular fellowship is paid according to the yearly indices of the Hebrew University and is tax free. The best fellowships are PBC fellowships. Interested candidates should look for these fellowships in the website of the Hebrew University. The PBC fellowship is 96,000 NIS/year/ It is very competitive.

- Three letters of recommendation on a letter form which include the logo of the university. All letters must be originally signed (scans of pdf's are accepted).
